Local Delivery
Heritage Durable Medical Equipment offers free local delivery to patients throughout the greater Houston area. Our team will coordinate a convenient delivery time with you or your caregiver. For large or complex equipment such as hospital beds, power wheelchairs, or home ventilators, our staff will deliver and set up the equipment in your home.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times depend on insurance verification, prior authorization, and product availability. Standard orders are delivered within 1–3 business days after approval. Urgent or hospice orders may qualify for same-day or next-day delivery — please call us. Custom or special-order items typically take 5–10 business days.
Insurance & Prior Authorization
Many items require insurance verification or prior authorization before delivery. Our team handles this process on your behalf and will keep you informed of the status. Delivery will be scheduled once all required approvals are in place.
Shipping Outside Houston
For patients outside our local delivery area, we may be able to ship certain supplies via standard carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). Shipping fees and availability vary by product and location. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Equipment Setup & Training
For complex equipment, our trained staff will set up the device in your home and provide instruction on proper use, cleaning, and maintenance. We want to ensure you and your caregivers feel confident and comfortable with your equipment.
Damaged Deliveries
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery. Do not discard the original packaging. We will arrange for a replacement or repair at no cost to you.
